Depends on what you consider doing something about it. Can they completely stop it? Absolutely not. Can they still knock a few jets and helicopters out of the sky? Yes. Can they make taking Kharg Island a headache and not worth it in the end? Yes, I fully expect Iran to launch every drone and missiles they have left at Kharg Island to try and completely destroy it just to keep us from taking it.
