People can downplay this all they want with their tribalism viewpoint, but President Trump fricked up on this one. The Intel was from one of our allies...

or the fact that he shared classified information with russian spies . I am not saying he broke the law but he shared the information with the damn russians. I know they are allies to most on this board for helping get trump elected. No i don't think trump directly helped but remember when he asked them to hack Hillary's email and they did? the hypocrisy of republican voters is at an all time high right now.
Go eat dinner with your family and be happy you are safe.

Some people have a problem with him giving top secret info to fricking Russia even if it may be technically legal.
Having even the tiniest of hints as to the general subject of the Intel would make this conclusion less hasty. If it's Intel on the location of an ISIS stronghold, I can think of legitimate reasons to disseminate that.
That's just a shot in the dark example, since we have no idea what he said.
Obviously if it's detrimental to us, it'd be easy to consider this a major disaster. But that is only a partisan assumption at this point.

Nothing was leaked. He "Trump" as the POS can talk about what he wants.
I trust this more than Obama talking with Iran.

This was the bigger point to me. His own staff is ready for this to be over.

Sharing highly classified info given to us by an actual ally with Russia, who may be Trump's ally but they aint ours, is a pretty stupid thing to do.
Until yotu know what that information entailed you're peeing your pants over nothing.
Hey, but I'm sure it's gonna be different this time. You've got him for sure.

What was the intel? Who were the allies? Odds these questions are never answered. Just like everything else #Russians there is just enough "info" leaked by a "source" to spin the narrative but it can never actually be confirmed.

WaPo even included or rather buried this nugget that pours cold water on their sensationalizing headline.
WaPo is grandstanding leftist propaganda that are trying to rile people up with sensationalizing bullshite like this. They're no different than Breitbart.
quote:
“The president and the foreign minister reviewed common threats from terrorist organizations to include threats to aviation,” said H.R. McMaster, the national security adviser, who participated in the meeting. “At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed, and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly.”
The CIA declined to comment, and the NSA did not respond to requests for comment.

Leftists: always making assumptions and then spreading them as absolute truth, despite the lack of confirmed evidence.

What would make this even more farcical is if those same people just spent the better part of a year screaming about how using a private email server that contained government information could put our country in a vulnerable and easily compromised position with regards to foreign countries that may seek to exploit that vulnerability. How it broke American security protocol. That it showed horrible judgement and made anyone that did so unfit for office.
It would be even further farcical if some of those people were currently clamoring to re-open that investigation and pursue criminal charges due to how horrible it would be to allow behavior that jeopardizes our security to go unpunished.
It would be gut bustlingly funny if then those same people started making excuses like "we aren't even sure if the information released is that serious. Let's just calm down."
