Because it is already happening. The capabilities obviously aren't fully developed yet though, otherwise we would know. But they are already building this. This is literally the AI race Trump speaks of. The Flock systems are already being put into orbit. If not under Flock's name, under other names.

They're one in the same. Did you not read the lengthy post I made about the military objectives with AI? The only way for them to achieve those objectives (intelligence supremacy) is to have surveillance supremacy, and, well, total cyber supremacy really, but surveillance supremacy is definitely a part of it and they are developing that capability as we speak. And again, I don't necessarily like it, but this is where we are headed like it or not.
