The longer it drags on, the more it makes headlines, the more damage it does to CBS. This is the point, not the specific dollar.

He wants them to admit they were nothing more than propaganda for Cackles the Clown.
If he really wants to embarrass them he should move the case into discovery so we can see the actual email and memos showing how they knew they were going to have to cover for Mrs. Unburdened.
the fact they are willing to pay 15 million proves they don't want their dirty laundry aired. That isn't a nuisance payment. That is a "we need this to go away" payment.
Trump doesn't need the money. Move the case forward. Depose people. And get all of their dirty laundry aired. Then potentially win more along with fines against CBS for breaking campaign laws.

Asking someone a question, then editing out their actual answer and replacing it with a different ansewer, becuase the actual answer was so bad isn't a "farce" of a claim.
Especially when you have precedent of the same organization lying about factual statements (Hunter's laptop isn't real, spying on a campaign for just a couple of examples).
What you can establish is a pattern of behavior that is inherently biased, and aimed at interfering with the outcome of an election through lies and half truths.
The lack of intellectual integrity by media and leftist is astounding sometimes. Makes me think the Dunning-Kruger effect is in play everywhere.

If CBS didn’t think they were at fault, they would have offered nothing. They tried to settle because they fricked up. By offering 15 million, they are basically admitting fault but trying to make it go away in order to avoid a public apology and to make it go away. These asshats should lose their broadcast licenses - and there should be RICO investigation to root out the prime movers of this debacle and put their asses in a pound-in-the-all jail of the rest of their miserable lives.
What we have suffered for the past two decades is the biggest scandal in American history - and aside from physical instances like the holocaust is hard to parallel in world history from a 'propaganda' standpoint.
