Some bits of information I think everyone should know are the differences between the British Isles, the United Kingdom, Great Britain, and England.

Trinity, a great novel by Leon Uris, gives a lot of background on the history of Britain and Ireland.

It gives a lot of incite on the emotions and politics between Britain and Ireland as well as Protestant versus Catholicism.

I came away being pro-Irish.

My feelings, as well. Ask one question. Is Europe better off since the establishment of the EU? I think the answer is objectively no.

Also, I’d hate to see unification. Northern Ireland is a fantastic nation that is very wealthy and full of people of mainland Britain blood.

The Republic of Ireland is a basket case of socialist Catholicism with very little Anglo Saxon blood.

Northern Ireland is notably more impoverished than the Republic, and wages are significantly lower as are most quality-of-life metrics. Ironically enough, the Irish generally regard the NHS as being superior to the HSE so your socialism comment is hilariously idiotic.

Of course, if you had any experience with the world you might know this, instead of inhaling garbage off the internet 24/7

I am pro-Trump but the guy can't help himself.

If ever there were a subject to avoid, Ireland is that subject. Extremely complicated morass of politics, religion, bad acts on both sides and really long-standing ill will. Not to mention that the Irish are an irrational hard-drinking lot that I personally would not frick with.

He should have dodged that question and moved on. Let them sort it out. They don't need us.

Not even close. You can travel freely between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Why are you always making shite up?

Northern Ireland’s disposable household income ranks 10th out of the UK’s 12 major countries and regions. What exactly makes that “very wealthy”?

You called the poorer place “very wealthy” and the richer place a “basket case.” Did you check a single number before posting?

The Catholics have been outbreeding Protestants in Northern Ireland since the Good Friday Agreement, which will eventually bring them to a 50% yes vote on Irish unification. However, a large number of Ulster Protestants will never accept rule by the Irish Republic. There will be conflict again if there's a vote for unification. The problem for Ulster loyalists is Britian doesn't really want them either. They're seen as a relic of a time the Brits would most like to forget.
