Yes, that’s what he should have said. He should have directly and openly invited Rogan to Mar A Lago to make his case on his podcast to the American people, or even gone to Austin if necessary. He should also emphasize after the assassination attempt that this is important.

Yep. It’s frustrating as hell because we have been making some inroads. It’s not that I’m afraid this will turn away people who listen to JRE, but it pretty much burns the bridge down of Trump ever being on the podcast, which I think would gain him a ton of independent and young support

This is how we get a cabinet filled out with swampy shite bags. All someone has to do to meet his qualifications is kiss his arse and tell him how great he is.

Can you imagine how Trump would behave if he was on this board and had to face feedback like just about everyone here faces?

Interesting... Trump was shot, have you been shot for your political beliefs?

Trump has actually faced way more backlash than any single fricking person on this board, and know what hes done? Not quit.

Not a single one of you have sat in front of a bunch of black women that hated you.

The reason why trump shouldnt have said anything is more because of this...

For the record, this isn’t an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RFKjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence.
I think we could use more of that in this world.

He's got people feeding him bad info.

This is the meme. People who think this is stupid aren't looking at this like an isolated incident, like the meme tried to do with Kama's racial identify, then Kemp, now Rogan. It's a strategy/behavior that has literally no benefit and lots of risk. It isn't about each one, the totality is bad Trump.

Bad Trump only appeals to the hardliners who already have his vote. It hurts his appeal to fence sitters he needs to win.

It’s like he still has no clue how to play politics in this system. It’s not fricking complicated. Be principled, but try to reach out to the people who aren’t automatic votes for you. Those are the frickers who decide elections.

Disagree. It has benefited he and his family greatly.

They have consolidated extreme and lasting power within one of the 2 major political parties.

Hard to say “literally no benefit” when he’s done that.

Doesn’t your mind evaluate situations by imagining and fantasizing your own daughter getting creamed pie by a strong safety type?

The people who went from Trump in 2016 to Biden in 2020 to Youngkin in 2021 to DEMs in 2022

They exist

So tell me political wizards how many voters will be swayed to Kamala by this scathing commentary on Rogan

None.

Also, that's a very narrow way of looking at it. What Trump needs is turnout and when you routinely, habitually, pathologically act like a big veiny dick, turnout suffers. The people who would never vote for Harris but might get out and vote for him are turned off by his assholeness.

No matter how good you might be at your job, if you're an a-hole, no one wants you around.

What if he has internal polling that shows the fence sitters don't like Rogan?

He didn't do that by irrationally melting down on social media

This is Trump. It's part of the ride, take it or leave it. He is not changing, get that idea out of your head. He is petty and has an ego, this is not some new phenomenon. We need him to beat Kamala. All the fence sitters and "above the fray" assholes need to get their shite together and realize we don't have much time.
