I’m MAGA as hell, I have a posting history to prove it. I’m vehemently against this. I agree with OP. And yes, I’m still glad I voted Trump. I don’t have to agree with every damn thing he does though.

technically you can't really own land in the united states you can only rent it from the county in which it's resides and the county can seize that land through eminent domain, that's no different for chinamen than it is for mericans n' sech.
frankly its at an all time high, i would not be a buyer at this level kind of like gold. it can and has crashed before remember farm aid, johnny cougar mellencamp does!
in the 80's the pearl clutching revolved around muh japanese own rockefeller center! they went bankrupt in 1995 and consortium of new york and chicago jews own it now. i guess that's considered just as bad on the poli board

Of all the idiotic things that are commonly believed on this board, that is probably the most stupid. China buying farmland here is no threat to us whatsoever. If we were to end up in a war, or bad confrontation, with China, we would just take the land back and then we would have the land and the money. China is the one who should be thinking twice about buying American farmland, or otherwise putting assets under American control.
