That the U.S. was gracious enough to accept in a case of hard times for them. The hard time is over. Return to your homeland.
BTW, how come none of the 300,000 never applied for citizenship here if they wanted to be permanent you reckon?

I dont feel sorry for these people. They have had 20-30 years to become American citizens and I believe that is plenty of enough time to do so.

please go stay for as long as you want in UK, France, China, or Canada without doing paperwork or becoming a citizen.
just go there, plant down roots and let me know how it goes.
i'm as sympathetic as you come in these scenarios. as a christian, i'll embrace the SJW name all day when it comes to refugees. but these people have a home to go back to and permanent alien/migrant status is a no go.

they should have applied for permanent status or citizenship while they were here
pretty sure this will get an injunction and get settled in court but at least it kick starts the process of these people getting off of temp status and going through the process or going back to Honduras

I personally think human beings exist in countries outside of the United States.

The problem is going to be--because of "birthright citizenship"--all those babies that were plopped out in those 20 years are now citizens.

You know who else were human beings?

If they have been in the U.S for two decades then they have probably made lives for themselves and maybe even have kids.
There has to be a humane way of dealing with a situation like this. You can’t just tell them all to go unless you are a heartless bastard.

They can be human beings back in their own countries.

they made lives for themselves without becoming citizens, knowing they were here because of a hurricane.
i am the farthest thing from a heartless bastard, but you can't just keep taking in people and not have them becoming tax paying citizens.

Will be a problem because we will never get a correct court ruling that states that the 14th was never meant to be any baby born because their mom managed to sneak into the country is a US citizen.

Telling them to GTFO by dark is heartless.
Giving them 18 months is more than humane.

So how many do you wish to take in and help support till they become legal?
Stop talking about it and be about it...

I really wish Trump would have give them a runway of say, 6-12 months to leave so they could get their affairs in order. You're right, that heartless bastard.
