Suggested this long ago. When other nations refuse to take their citizens back, pay El Salvador to take them. El Salvador has mass incarceration down pat by now.

I would be cheaper for us to pay El Salvador to build mega prisons and pay for all of their corrections expenses than keeping them here.

You better not be standing between the US/Mexican border if this deal is made.
Illegals will run for Mexico out of fear of getting sent to El Salvador. The "detention" there will be unmerciful.
This will literally scare half the illegals into self-deportation.

Do they have major prison labor programs there? Or do they just get thrown into a human sewer to rot. Don’t care, just curious about the incentive. Im sure they house criminals for a fraction of the cost here, but they still have to feed and provide minimal healthcare

Exactly. Bukele gets a cozy relationship with the US while locking up all these criminals and throwing away the key into their super prison complex. Hell, the US will probably even earmark their "foreign aid" to build 2-3 more Metlife Stadium sized prisons.
It's a win-win for everyone. Bukele just has to house them, but it won't matter unless he ever unseated by some globalist cheat election and the commie thy install empties the prisons. That's the only worry.

This is the kind of foreign aid I can get behind. Hell, incentivize Mexico to secure their own Southern Border to lower the migrant traffic coming through Mexico to the US.
