AI in robots will be far safer drivers than humans. We have a shortage now, that AI won’t help with, but in ten years there is no reason to have humans drivings trucks…or cars, or planes.

I am guessing we will be close to 1/3 of those will be self driving by the end of 10 years.
As an aside...I was just driving and passing by me was a Waymo. What is interesting is that the window tint was so dark it had to be illegal.
So, what does a Waymo do when the police put their lights on to stop it???

Simple supply vs demand. Once we remove the ability of non-citizens/non-green card holders form taking jobs at lower pay the pay scale will go up. Problem is politicians and corporations want the cheaper labor.

A good friend of mine from got killed last year by an immigrant driver in Thomasville, AL while he was just sitting at a stop light. Driver plowed through half a dozen cars. Never slowed down. Killed others too.
