Our only alliance to law should be the Declaration of Independence, which adopted natural law for all man. The constitution was, as admitted by the founders who wrote it, a flawed system that tried to defend our rights as laid out in the Declaration. They always knew it would have to be replaced with a better version to preserve our freedoms.
That being said Trump does not care about any of this, and I would never trust him or any other politician to write anything defending out natural rights.
