I'm not going to cry about Trump, I'm neither impressed nor particularly disappointed
I do wonder what he's doing. I don't think the tariff game is going to be a win if for no other reason than he'd need multiple administrations to even test his theory on the "win" and he'll never have that.
My best guess is he thinks resolving Ukraine-Russia or Israel-Hamas is going to be a legacy item for him, but if so, he vastly underestimates how the entire academic/history apparatus in this country will ensure he's never given any credit in mainstream thought.

No matter what he is deficient in, it won’t negate the successes with the border, ICE operations, and reestablishing respect for our military. The #1 job of POTUS in my view is to protect his people and he is succeeding at that in the face of fierce opposition by anti-American leftists.
