Maybe im out of touch but 200k would be upper middle class for about 48 out of 50 States.

So now the PoliBoard believes the Middle class is part of the have nots?

Edit: The 200K would cover THE ENTIRE MIDDLE CLASS.

Middle Class by State

you completely eliminate the taxpayer money that was distributed by USAID to all of the stupid shite that it went to, yeah, taxes could be significantly reduced.

If you took average dispersement of 23 billion a year it would take 74 years to pay off this years deficit

DNR them all - did anyone mention the powerhouse this turns 401k and IRA into?

It turns the tax breaks of the past into a better future with lower/no taxes - all while establishing a habitual contribution to individual retirement funds

I see it like this...

Eliminate tax on certain groups. With extra money, they spend more which helps economy and state revenue
It leads to flat tax. It's the only way to get there

Absolutely not. We will get other countries to zero tariffs, while OUR tariffs bring manufacturing home and generate sufficient revenue to eliminate income taxes.

However we have a spending problem not a lack of revenue problem.
Of course!

If we raised taxes today to match spending we would need to raise them again next year as spending is growing faster then GDP and thus revenue.
Not mention accrued interest, since we are not retiring any debt. So there’s that pesky exponential growth thing going on.

We need to greatly reduce government, target fraud in the entitlement programs, and institute a balanced budget amendment.
Unfortunately voters don’t want less spending. Someone has to pay for populism.

Trump: I'm going to try to eliminate taxes for people making less than $200k.

Also conservatives: Noooooo! That's unfair! I constantly bitch about low birthrates and high taxes, and this will help with that, but someone gets an advantage I don't (as if most people here even sniff $200k), so waaaahhhh.
There is nothing conservative about stealing Bernie, AOC. and Pocahontas’ rhetoric.

Agreed.

Still better than Biden's "I'll cure cancer" promise, though.

Well I'm one guy, not the poliboard. It's wealth redistribution.

Drive from your middle class neighborhood to where people who make 1m+ a year live and you'll feel like a have not.

And I don't understand it when MAGA cheers for it either, aside from the obvious.
