Frankly, most Republicans seem to have no actual policy positions, other than fealty to Trump. I base that on the words and actions of the GOP candidates, themselves.

Out of curiosity, would you declare Joe Biden as the current LEADER of the Democratic Party?

The party is so split due to the a-hole it's very difficult for the GOP to win general elections.

Pledge fealty to Trump and a large number of people will refuse to vote for you.

Tell Trump to take a hike and the Trump loyalists will refuse to vote for you.

Dems are loving life right now. Most unpopular president in history is in the WH and yet members of his party continue to be elected because republicans hate each other.

Why would one not?

He's the leader of the country.

Didn’t Mitch McConnell also endorse him?

I have one good friend in Kentucky who is somewhat connected to politics there. After Cameron spoke at RNC 2020 I asked him about him. His response? He’s Mitch’s guy.

The Rs should have helped Cameron - writ large. They didn’t. The R party has taken its eye off state politics. It shows.

Because I don't realistically believe he's making any actual "Party decisions."

I also don't completely reject the notion of seeing and accepting the titular "Leader" of something as the actual leader, so I appreciate the response and better understand your perspective.

Wait... the Senate Minority Leader helped him but the Rs didn't help him?

What should the party have done that it didn't do? The Cameron campaign raised only about 20% of the money spent on his campaign. The rest came from the Republican Governors association and other Republican PACs - about $23 million.

He's the leader of what will be the new Republican party. But, he's certainly not the leader of this Republican party.

Is Trump considered the leader of the Republican Party? Make more excuses. Trump isn't chilling at Mar a Lago like he said he would if he lost in 2020. He's been very vocal and is running again. He is 100% a big part of this.

You know what’s funny about all of the Trump hate? Trump, had fraud not ensued, would be in his final year of his presidency and the TDS sufferers would be relieved of their symptoms. But, just like the Dems who tried everything to keep him from running again, know they screwed up and continue to show their TDS just like the ones that think the party is in ruins because of Trump. It’s a ploy to try to get people to go away from Trump and vote for Ron. Ron screwed himself instead of waiting until 2028.

This sounds a little disingenuous.

If Trump-connected candidates won, then it would be due to the power of MAGA.

If they lose, it’s the Republican party’s fault because Trump isn’t in power.

In fairness, the party shills are arguing just the opposite.

This! It’s a state issue per the courts so why are these dumbass R’s trying to push federal laws. I don’t get it. The courts just said Abortion is not a federal position.

Secondly, please just say that you agree with the Supreme Courts and all states should put it on the ballot but don’t make it a candidate choice, they are so dumb.
