Trump can’t make policy
Trump can’t pass laws
Trump has no pull on congress or senate
Trump can’t govern on the local level

So how are these republicans who lost who aren’t even close to MAGA blamed on Trump and not the actual Republican Party who job it is to convince voters to get up for them because they will actually make policies?

What is the GOP in congress platform?

What is the GOP national platform?

Why should people get up and vote in special elections for the GOP?

Is Trump considered the leader of the Republican Party?

Make more excuses. Trump isn't chilling at Mar a Lago like he said he would if he lost in 2020. He's been very vocal and is running again. He is 100% a big part of this.

I don't think so. I think the Party is generally quite a mess, though, and I'm not sure it has one person who you could definitively designate as its "leader."

Do you think he is? By virtue of what, if so? Who's second in line if Trump is the current "leader"?

If Trump was the actual party leader that would reflect in policies in congress on the fed and local level. Name one MAGA policy either has pushed or campaigned on?

Trump shut the country down over a fake virus.

Trump handed out trillions in deficit spending causing massive inflation.

Trump directly went after abortion.

Literally the top 3 issues for people right now, Trump did them. Dude was a diaster.

That's because no one has filled the void and taken the Bull by the ballz so to speak.

Feel free to show us the best, most viable, vocal, willing to fight alternative.

Is Trump actively trying to get Republicans elected?

All he can do is endorse you still need a national Republican platform and policies.

Trump is the leading GOP candidate for POTUS. If you want to be the Leader of the Party you will bear the brunt of the blame when your party loses elections.

Because he's shitty at it doesn't mean Trump isn't the leader of the Republican party.

Trump is absolutely the leader of the Republican party.

Why not? Because he's shown he can't lead shite and nothing is ever Trump's fault?

Romney McDaniel is in her position due to Trump.
Trump is the most recent GOP President and is running again with a big lead over his challengers.

To say Trump isn't the leader of the party is ridiculous and you only say as much as he's failing.

Ask the MAGA crowd in Congress who the leader of the party is and you will get one answer; "Trump"

If a Trump backed candidate wins, it's because Trump endorsed him. If he loses, how is it Trump's fault? He's been out of office for 3 years.

What percent of congress constitutes the "MAGA crowd"?

I don't see your question as simplistic as you are trying to paint (but I don't choose to look at everything through the lens of some sort of goofy caricature), but I understand your desire to insist that it should be such.

Either way, who's No. 2 if you see Trump as the current definitive "leader"?

It’s a combination.

Some are so TDS ridden they believe it.

Some don’t have any other argument so they just throw it out there.

Some are in denial that their preferred platform is a loser and they need a scapegoat.

You're seriously arguing that the guy who's been/will be the Republican nominee for three successive presidential elections, the guy that is polling 99.99% amongst Republicans - you're seriously arguing that that guy is not the leader of the Republican party?
