I see. Your point certainly did not come across that way as written, but I understand now. I disagree, however, with the idea that we don't need to expose it, because of its growing popularity, as though this shows that people have accepted it's consequences. This is not to say that everyone can be reached. We know that some people would rather die than be proven wrong. But I believe that the extent of which communism has grown is largely due to poor education on what it actually is. They don't understand it's consequences. People are indoctrinated on the perceived "goodness" that comes from a system of "sharing", but they don't understand the logical conclusions of where that leads. They don't know their history, they don't know economics, they just "feel good" about the promises communism makes.
And if the left won't teach them, who else but us will?
But how long will it take to educate them? The mid-terms are only 4 months away.
Sometimes lessons can only be learned the hard way.

They've all been Marxist for quite awhile. Will they be forced to finally admit it?

But ignorant young people just see the short term benefits of free stuff, without understanding that those things aren't actually free. And the source where that tax money comes from eventually dries up.
Because they are imagining socialism through the lense of capitalism. They see the immense wealth generated by capitalism and want it redistributed. They think the wealth will continue to be generated at the same level post redistribution.

Do y’all ever get tired of this grifting?

Is Trump a socialist?
I've been thinking a lot about this. Is Trump a card-carrying socialist who walks around talking about the benefits of socialism? Absolutely not.
Does he embrace socialist concepts at times to get himself out of political jams? Absolutely. Look no further than the proposed $12B onetime payment to farmers in the wake of tariff hikes. It certainly bypasses the free market. Not saying i agree or disagree with the tactic, but it certainly has the appearance of socialist tendencies.
And yes, Dumbocrats are guilty of this same thing and worse.
But I think the current strategy of screaming communism and socialism relies heavily on the American public not understanding either concept.
