North Eastern Chinese are tall. Southern Chinese when you get closer to SEA are shorter on average. N > S on height there in general.

Trump has the manners of a baboon and the brain of an amoeba. Of course he has no idea how to behave in this sort of setting.
Bragging and BSing your way through this situation and “pretending” to take charge might give you the chuckles, but I guarantee you the Chinese think he is a classless dolt. They will respect even less over this if that is possible.
They are very focused on manners and face. You can pretend it doesn’t matter and act tough, but the orange fool only weakens his position bit by bit by his lack of fundamental manners.
