Giving false and illegal/unconstitutional hope probably ranks higher.

I find it offensive people like Bernie and you have the need to feel bad for and stand up for us brown people. It is racist and patronizing. Screw you, Toddy. I stand up for you when people go personal against you for being gay....never again you racist piece of crap.

No, it runs counter to what liberal/progressive/socialist bastards stand for as a group. Enforcing the laws on the books as written is what the majority of Americans stand for as a nation.
The reason immigration reform has not happened is because there wasn't a need for it as long as the law was being ignored. The best way to get a bad or unpopular law changed is to enforce it to the letter.

Not even close. Imprisoning all asians for... being asian was far, far worse abuse of power. Oh... and a democrat hero did it.

DACA allowed them to get social security numbers, drivers license in some states but most importantly a job.
Nope. Not legally.

The probability that this Congress will get something done about this is highly unlikely

That is the issue isn 't it? Congress needs to do something.

Alright Shep...tell the truth there Mr. Col Reb supporter... when one Federal Judge arbitrarily ruled that the 10 Commandments monument had to be removed from the Alabama State Supreme Court building, did you care about anything other than the judge ruling that it was against the law? Bet you didn't. I bet you were rather vocal that the monument had to go based on the "rule of law". My how you conveniently look the other way when you can spot a perceived direct or indirect benefit for your cause however that flies in the face of the rule of law. Not only that but these immigration laws are much more established than one judge's opinion of the law which you hung your hat on.

They can't get federal aid, only a few states offer any state aid.

If a legal immigrant who has applied for their green card but hasn't gotten it yet can't get federal aid then why should an illegal immigrant get it?

Whole thread is dumb. The repeal doesn't take effect for six months. If Congress fails to act, we just go back to the 2012 scenario. It's not like O or W or Clinton was rounding them up before.

Is this on in par with FDR's internment of Japanese Americans?

Bernie Sanders stating the obvious.

"Taking legal protections away from 800,000 young people raised in this country is absolutely counter to what we stand for as a nation," Sanders continued. "If Trump ends DACA, Congress must act immediately to restore it."

Allow me to translate for Mr.Sanders,

"The cessation of DACA and the enforcement of Federal immigration laws is a threat to the fundamental transformation/destruction of America, that we socialist/communist have worked tirelessly towards the past 75 years. This simply must not stand, and in addition I urge all my ANTIFA brothers and sisters to let the POTUS know how disheartened we are with his blatant racial attack against these brown skinned people who are simply seeking a better life. In other words, grab your masks, clubs, mace, signs, etc. and start busting some white privilege heads"

Illegals are special class of people. They are above the laws we mere citizens and immigrants are subject to.

They are so special--they deserve special exemption from he laws so that we can ensure equality for all.

I mean, it's hard to even write anything so stupid, but hats the basis of their "argument".
