We don’t have to be unified on everything but we can and should be unified against political violence. Fight and win in the marketplace of ideas. I understand where Trump is coming from in view of what happened to his friend and what si nearly happened to him, but his comments represent a failure of leadership.

Why would an absolute clown like Trump call for unity? His entire schtick is dividing and dragging this country into the dirt. He makes no secret of it and has bragged about it often.

No, but I think Trump’s response is antithetical to what Charlie would want, since he was a genuine follower of Christ. And the concept of forgiveness is kinda the crux of our entire religion. Obviously, Charlie Kirk was fighting and winning in the marketplace of ideas and was martyred for it. As mentioned earlier, praying for GOD's vengeance against the violence perpetrated I feel is a perfect starting point for those who loved and respected the man. POTUS Trump is where he needs to be because he has truly proved to be an outstanding leader. Certainly, commentary will not ever please all and we must include end results in that same category as well.
But, in the end with GOD willing, we will be in a much better place than we are now.
