What's crazy is that putting a tariff on goods from Canada ......affects producers in the US. They sell us raw aluminum

You really are ill informed.

Have you seen how many alumina plants that have reopened or started back up after shutting down.
WTF should we use Canada when we have more alumina than we’ll ever need here??

Just admit you’re a uniparty/prigressive

This is what I’m hoping. Hopefully, he can bypass some of these state governments that are setting up roadblocks

dumb

if you have input, including why I'm wrong to question how this is going to help in the long term, I'm all ears

Trump signs new trade deal with Mexico and Canada

Trump is desperate to overthrow Trumps trade agreement with Canada and Mexico. Even he hated his previous administration, apparently.

Trump is playing his Art of the Deal, but Ford is too. Actually it's pretty ridiculous that we are getting into pissing contests with our two major trading partners. This is sophmoric shite which only encourages more sophmoric shite.

Canada started the pissing contest decades ago with Terrace on the United States.

You guys really believe Trump and that Canada will become the 51st state? I

No one believes that. However, if you've learned anything by now its that he says stuff many steps ahead. Same thing as when the northern border issue happened - comments like that and guess what? Ultimately Canada comes out and helps with the border. Imagine that.

The 51st state is stupid. Making them the 51st state would give Dems all three branches of govt forever

Well the only thing I can figure is he pisses them off with this 51st state stuff and then offers how nice they really would be under the governance of the US. And gradually more and more of them might see the light. But in the near term their politicians will fan the flames of Canadian nationalism in whatever form that takes. Let's now see how their election turns out.

Trump is hell bent on increasing the volume of US territory.

I get the annoyance on the messaging but they’re absolutely raping us with tariffs and blocking our businesses up there.

This is a classic “mean tweet” scenario where I’ll take course negotiations and trumpisms over a $40B trade imbalance.

You can’t tell me there’s any other US politician who would’ve tried seriously to fix our trade policy issues.

Trump is smarter than me. So maybe I am missing something, but it makes no sense to me. Even more so when you consider that it was Trump who put the current trade deal in place.

Then why cheer that Putin is offering us a deal on 2 million tons of aluminum if we don't need it. We import in 3 .3 or so million tons yearly from Canada.....if we don't need it then why are we importing it? Maybe you can explain that aspect. We don't need it, but we are buying it?

Apparently we do.... you should revise your qualifying statement after your dig at me that I am ill informed

Just admit it, you love the show and you throw around stupid tripes about Uniparty/ Globalists because it is in fact you who are ignorant and have nothing else.
