What if it’s knowingly presenting false information to impeach a president?

The Fulton County election workers did get poll watchers to leave and proceeded to do illegal shite after they left and they have one of those poll watchers on video talking about it.

What information was false? The election workers are on video talking about illegal things that happened after poll watchers were tricked into leaving. They have on video multiple people stuffing ballots into drop boxes which is clearly against the law and one woman was from South Carolina.

There is no real chilling effect here.

She is not being prosecuted for "advocating for her client"; she is being prosecuted for knowingly making false statements during that advocacy.

The reason there is no real chilling effect is because lawyers are already prohibited from doing that by the rules of ethics. That is why she was censured by the Colorado bar back in March.

An attorney can spin facts any way they want in advocating for their client. But they cannot knowingly present false facts. And doing so in order to coerce legislatures to reverse an election results should be criminal.

Excellent post.

They don’t care. They prosecute this attorney who didn’t commit a crime and threaten her with 5 years if she gets an unsympathetic jury in Fulton county. So they give her probation and require she say she was lying and the election is legit. Then they claim to have the moral high ground in election integrity.

Doc is in here crowing about her lying and committing crimes, but in her own statement she says she was relying on what the senior attorneys told her. So she could not have committed the crime of intentionally lying to the state senate. That is ignored.

Yeah, someone who wants to pretend that our legal system is being applied blindly without regarding the political loyalties isn't interested in an honest conversation. No doubt that it's always happened in various instances, but from the BLM riots on it's been systemic.

It is ignored because you are wrong. I know your logic sounds reasonable on the surface, but an attorney has a duty to avoid making false statements. Remaining willfully ignorant about the veracity of your statements is the same as knowingly making a false statement.

They did not require her to recite her written statement. And no one forced her to admit to the Colorado Bar that the election was legit.

Someone above said this looked like a hostage video. It is actually someone who truly regrets flushing her own integrity down the drain. She made that statement because she wanted to. Powell and Cheseboro did not make such statements.

The information I posted on page 1 about the numbers of false votes from ineligible and dead voters. She admits they were false and she failed to correct them. She admitted the story about the Fulton County officials ordering poll watchers to leave while they continued working is a false story that the Trump team presented as true.

you know your procedure. You also know this is just not true.

This was the plan the entire time. Dismiss the concerns about the election by prosecuting the opposition. Threaten their lives and careers, then tell them if they admit there was no issues with the election they get a slap on the wrist and go their merry way.

That is precisely what happened and every single person here knows that. You simply choose to be ok with it because of your party affiliation.

It’s fascism.

Every defense attorney that has had a client lie to them shall be prosecuted!

You’re making a leap without support. Trusting co-counsel would rarely be described as remaining willfully ignorant.

There was no crime here. She was politically prosecuted and took the plea to avoid what was being threatened

You're such a drama queen, Bonds.

It's not fascism to require lawyers to not swear by false information.

With the threat of 5 years being pointed at her head.

I take the corruption of our justice system very seriously.

That isn’t what happened here, at all. This was a politically motivated prosecution and you know it. I understand you not wanting to admit to being a fascist. But it is what you are.

*gasp*

She didn't want to go down for a RICO charge. I can't blame her for that. She's a lawyer and must've reasonably calculated that that might happen. So did Chesebro and Powell and Hall.

No shite. Most of them will plead out and say whatever the state tells them to say.. the alternative is to have the state basically bankrupt them.

Yep. They are accused of crimes they didn’t commit and threatened with putting their lives in the hands of a Fulton County jury….OR we can just give you probation if you do what we say. Every single person ever is taking that deal. It doesn’t mean prosecuting them in the first place wasn’t horribly corrupt.
