I believe there’s ALWAYS much, much more to it that we’re simply not privy to, which is not at all an unusual idea. It’s a guarantee that there is. And because it’s “behind the scenes” stuff, that would probably make it extremely pertinent to folks out here actually come to a fully intelligent and informed opinion. But we skip that and ignore and forge ahead with out own definitive and superior opinions anyway. Which is natural. I do it too. But again, there are probably things that if we were aware, our opinions might well to a 180.

I would just ask any of these losers that think this is great:
How does this benefit the future of the Republican Party, conservatism, or the nation in any way?
How does attacking and belittling, and possibly weakening the most effective, most popular Conservative Governor (Of a state needed for electoral votes) help Republicans, Conservatives, or the Nation in any way?
The answer to both is of course it does not. It only "helps" (??) Trump.
How does this benefit the future of the Republican Party, conservatism, or the nation in any way?

I think this is an inescapable truth that people will eventually have to acknowledge, no matter how much you loved voting for him in 2016 and 2020.
I voted for Donald Trump once, and felt at the time it was the right decision as I wanted a warrior in the culture war. But if you can see this man now and the way he conducts himself versus a statesman like DeSantis who accomplished so much defending ideals of liberty and conservativism in Florida and think Trump is the right guy for the job, I think you are engaging in self-delusion. The way these words come across from Donald Trump is indeed petty and small, you nailed it.

This is just more melodrama. Very few have overtly deemed this as “great”. That’s only what YOU WANT to derive from it, and perhaps the first puzzle to solve is why you insist on revving up the rpm’s and then ask why the engine’s revved up so much. This thread was started in order to create a fury of criticism and demeaning of Trump, after which naturally supporters of Trump participate and push back. That order of things is kinda important.
