Yea, just like he was intimidated by McCain, Rubio & Jeb.

Trump has been petty and small since he entered the public eye forty years ago. I suspect that he was petty and small as a child, as well.

But in 2015-2016 he said the things that certain people wanted to hear.

How is Trump's support for Ron relevant?

Honestly, the fact that Ron was supported by Trump and then returned that full support makes Trump's one-sided war against a guy saying nothing at all seem that much more ridiculous

Trump is making a mistake here.

DeSantis simply needs to stay above the fray. i.e., "I don't have any comment at this point. I'm focused on Florida."

Meanwhile, his surrogates will roll with Trump in the mud. I am really surprised Trump is going there.

Ron Desantis won because of Donald Trump's endorsement. Not even Desantis would deny this.

He won the primary because of Trump. The general election was a year later, it went back and forth and Trump wasn’t a factor.

You serious Clark? What about the part where Desantis wouldn’t be in the general but for Trump?

All of them took the bait early.

Trump will have no idea what to do if Ron doesn't react soon. His attacks will just get more and more cringe, which is already happening.

it means trump knows more about that guy than we do. DO you have trump resources? you and I have zero clue as to what he is hearing and seeing through back channels.

he is sending a shot across the bow now to ron. if you are now owned by globalists, do not frick with me and do not think about running because i will destroy you on a national level.

This is calculated.

Trump mimicking DeSantis on policy is far more likely to get DeSantis to react than this stuff, IMO. If that's the goal it's a smart play. But it would require Trump to genuinely invest in all of that stuff in a way he probably won't.

"He was dead, he was leaving the race. He came over and he begged me, begged me, for an endorsement. He was getting ready to drop out," Trump said on Thursday on the podcast "The Hugh Hewitt Show."

"There were tears coming down from his eyes. He said: 'If you endorse me, I'll win,'" said Trump. "So I end up doing it, and he wins."

Sounds like middle school drama.

Nobody gives a shite. Our current President is a thief and nobody gives a shite about that either.

We're all too busy worrying about Trump doing what Trump does, which is run his mouth and talk smack.

We're participating in the gaslighting and misdirection by doing so. As we focus on the mundane with the election still two years away, we ignore the southern border, "vaccine" revelations, the piss poor economy, horrid foreign and domestic policy, currently seated politicians posturing and being loud but still continuing to further the Uniparty agenda when the cameras are off, insider trading, well documented and published Biden family corruption which by definition is sedition and borderline treason, and the WEF initiating the final curtain call on humanity.

Congratulations, us!!

DeSantis impresses me as quite disciplined. Unless he loses discipline, he won't react. He knows the plan is to sit back and wait. Let Trump punch at air for several months. Meanwhile, he is going to have surrogates rolling in the pig slop with Trump.

I don't get Trump's play here.

It's a quote from Trump on Hugh Hewitt's podcast. It's presumably checkable if you want to debonk it.

Trump continues to make himself unelectable.

It’s almost like he’s trying to run off independent voters on purpose.

He’s going to cost us 2024.
