My personal favorite line of this whole article.....

Knowledge of these interactions is based on New York Times reporting........and accusations related to the special counsel investigating foreign interference in the election.

He listed all those indictments as if they were a rebuttal on the collusion point.

It wasn't meant as a rebuttal on collusion. The post I responded to read as saying there was nothing to the Russian narrative, so I pointed out there have been 90 indictments in the investigation as it relates to Russian interference in the 2016 campaign.

I don't think we'll see any evidence, if there is any, of collusion until Mueller's investigation is completed, so these gotcha comments on there being no evidence of it are pretty pointless.

Is this some Q shite? Help me out here.

No, nothing to do with Q. There is plenty of publicly available information on the Uranium One deal as well as tons of reporting about the Obama/Medvedev meeting.

The point is if these Trump contacts with the Russians truly concern you, then you should be equally, if not more, concerned with what Hillary and Obama have done with the Russians.

Consistency of position, especially in the face of zero evidence, indictment or conviction involving Trump himself resulting from anything he has or has not done wrong with the Russians.

I agree, so it begs the question on why he lied about those contacts when asked by the FBI.

We're talking across 28 people in BOTH directions.

I highly doubt that he was aware of even 2% of those so, you're going to have to be a shade more specific.

Kind of like Drudge's alarm linking to a new site, quoting Drudge as the source of the info?

Flynn's guilty plea for lying to the FBI was over their questions to him about contacts with Russians while he was a national security adviser during the transition. I believe those contact were early January 2016, and in response to Obama's sanctions. He told them he had no contacts with Russians, which was a lie.

It would be normal for a national security adviser to talk to foreign countries during a transition, so why would he lie about it?

Imagine being “center left” like draconian sanctions but literally buy into the equivalent of birtherism. What a fricking embarrassment that “guy” is.

And the difference is, birtherism was actually (in part) a product of Obama's own lit agent saying (in 1991) that Obama was born in Kenya. Even Snopes acknowledges that.

A 1991 literary client list promotional booklet identified Barack Obama as having been born in Kenya.

True

I digress.

Among these contacts are more than 100 in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, emails and private messages on Twitter. Mr. Trump and his campaign repeatedly denied having such contacts with Russians during the 2016 election.

It took me 15-20 phone contacts with building and zoning in my county, just to get permitting for 24x36 barn.

Trump Inc. was planning on another Trump Towers venture in Moscow, before he ran for president. 100 phone & text contacts should be considered very efficient, don't think?
