Trump needs to crank up the insult machine so that those who plan to vote for him with a sledgehammer will vote even harder. Because, those votes count more.

people complained about the black thing with Kamala It worked. Blacks aren’t voting for Kamala because she is black. Not all obviously, but A LOT - in fact, a shite ton. Now, since they aren’t voting for an Indian, they have started looking at policy for the first time in years… their eyes are now wide open.

Where do you get this? Actual data or wishful thinking? There are so many assertions here with zero evidence to back it up. Just because you want something to be true doesn’t mean it’s true.

Trump's interview with Theo Von was about as normal and human as he's sounded. Whoever is running his campaign needs to setup more of those. Repeating the same talking points thousands of times isn't getting any new votes, it just stirs up the base.

I liked his answer, his "advisors" take orders, they don't give them.

If they don't believe in him, they shouldn't take his money.

That coward will not return to the thread. Takes shots and leaves.

Par for the course with progressive eunuchs.

The problem with your logic is those people, a solid 40%, are already voting for him. Enthusiasm doesn’t make your vote count twice if you follow the laws.

Trump is portrayed badly by the left because when he is attacked he comes back with a sledgehammer. At the black journalist interview, he was polite to those asking tough questions in a professional way. The headlines were about him responding to the obvious attacks from the one bitch.

To get the squeamish voter that do like his policies but not the gore associated with the sledgehammer, Trump needs to use his rapier wit to make the same points. The idea is to win and in a close base election he has to attract those in the middle. A rapier and a sledgehammer can both kill you, but the sword doesn’t have bits of brain scattered all over the observers.

I would pound the point that the Obama dims have been in charge 12 of 16 years and the best time for most Americans were the pre Covid Trump years.

Trump goes after the Democrat politicians, I’ve never heard him degrade their voting base.

The Democrats on the other hand …

To be fair her ideas are idiotic.

I don’t know how you put it nicely.

He hasn’t been going up there and calling her a drunk hoe or anything.

I also wonder where that guy is that swore no one says you can’t attack Kamala.

That eliminates a big chunk right there. And you're right, compared to hard policy people shouldn't care about mean tweets or bombastic behavior but they do.

Fair has nothing to do with this. Yes, he's justified in attacking those who attack him, but that shouldn't be the question he asks. The question should be "Does this help me win the election".

Let's see...listen to political advisors who—when I was listening to them I was so far ahead in the polls that Biden had to drop out—or ask a bunch of cult members at a rally who will clap like trained seals for literally anything I say...I don't know, that's a tough decision.

Trump may win anyway, but if he does it will be despite his judgement, not because of it.

Good to know he's got smart advisors around him.

Personal attacks on a minority female will win no independent votes and could drive some away. It's fun and funny, no doubt, but personal attacks (non-policy related) are bad strategy in a close race.

right... kamala strategy is to bait DJT into making it about personality. she loses on policy. she ran in 2019 on decriminalizing illegal border crossings. she is the party of tent cities, defunding the police, decriminalizing illegal immigration, high taxes, big deficits (7% of fricking gdp and climing, bigger and bigger government.

and he's taking the bait. DJT can't be disciplined and stay on policy. he's trading petty insults which is a loser plan.
