The person I was replying to simply said “restart drilling” is if somehow it in general has been stopped. It hasn’t.
Now yes, if said person would have been more specific in regards to ANWAR, then it would be more fully understood. I know facts don’t matter in political discussions, but they should.

It was a fking brilliant statement. Now EVERYONE wants to know what he'll do, and we don't know yet.

I didn't see it, but if he's pumping Newsom up, he's even dumber and more careless than I thought about the stuff he says.
He can perhaps beat Biden (although this far out I'm not sold on that yet), but I think he loses to Newsom.

Trump using his power to crush enemies of normal American families would be appealing to me.

This is the type of stuff that Trump says to act tough and the base eats it up. He won't do anything out of the norm, he will issue a bunch of EOs that most of us would like and that's about it.
This is pretty much what I said last night while watching his interview. I know exactly what he meant when he said that but it's a bad phrasing choice for independents and white women who will hate it and misinterpret what he meant.

Here's the thing, and it is more projection by the Democrats than anything else. Trump does not fit the profile.Dictators tend to be younger men and they are very detail oriented. Trump could never be accussed of being involved in minutiae .
I doubt most Trumpists have a huge attention span. Trump certainly does not. He's a builder/ developer. Do the thing and move on and let the details to others.
