Sounds eerily like the UK's Online Safety Act.

I guess his point is that americans were not allowed freedom when it came to covid vax

They ultimately won that, though. So they were allowed freedom, ultimately. Some got paid for the violations.

Everyone wants to come to the United States. Not everyone wants to be an American.

We are not the Section 8 housing of the world. The other nearly 8B people on the planet are not entitled to be a part of our society.

The USA should take a lesson from Jesus.

Many will cry Lord, Lord but few will enter the kingdom.

We need to be as extremely selective on who enters our country. If we intend to continue having a country.

Great idea.

Here are his exact words:

quote:

The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Mark 12:31

Further illustrated in Luke 10:25-37:
quote:

The Parable of the Good Samaritan

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[e] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

How many folks here would travel to a foreign country if they had to give up their TD.com screen name to enter the country?

Hey, I feel like it would be sort of fun to go through my post history with a foreign customs agent.

I'll guarantee that this is being misreporting and it will be applicable to only those that apply for visa.

This exact same thing happened with the UK a while back and it was not exactly a favored policy.

Who they gonna hire to go through 350,000 posts on just TD? Not counting X and FaceBook and Instagram, etc.

Is this going to be a like a GS-13 level job?

So it is ok to use the DOJ and WH staffers to silence American citizens but not ok to check & review, not silence, foreigner's social media for security purposes before entry?

Such a backward reality y'all have created for us.

I've been to many countries, most of them communist, where I had to have a letter from both state and federal law enforcement clearing me of being a fugitive or having active warrants/probation to get an entry visa.

This is posting 'in the public square' and you are opposed to having somebody read it... from the public square?

Well let’s see

If someone from another country posts shite about killing people in America - it’s probably not a good fricking idea to allow them into our country. Your parents should have taught you what the frick common sense was when you were growing up because you sound like a dumbass idiot questioning this
