I am all for vaping..people that smoke know the risks, let them keep those risks to themselves and free me of second hand smoke complications.

from what I've read it's mostly the THC products that are suspect. They are only legally available in states that have legalized medical or recreational marijuana.
Can the federal govt outlaw these? I would think not since it's the individual states.

Tobacco is a different story.

As opposed to non-tobacco flavors for adults? I know a decent number of people that vape (including myself) and no one vapes tobacco-flavored juice.

And it is damn-near industry destroying. Tons of brick and mortar vape shops have popped up over the past few years, and almost all of their profit is off of house-made juice. What this will result in is a handful of online-only stores staying in business to sell niche hardware, and the likes of CVS, Walmart, gas stations, etc. selling a few different brands of tobacco flavored juice. 90%+ of the mom-and-pop brick & mortar stores will shut down. People will lose interest in the hobby and start smoking again. Others will keep it up, but buy/make their own flavored eliquids (thus growing the black market).

I'm really pissed about this decision, even though it doesn't effect me as I make my own flavored juices.

Bans are cool as long as it doesn't affect me personally. They will never try to ban something else once this one succeeds.

I am concerned that the POTUS believes he has this kind of authority. I don't think that he does or should have it. If the POTUS can ban these vapes for health reasons, then a future President might try to ban guns for the same reasons.

This is dumb. I don’t even vape but this is no different from taking away people’s guns to stop people from killing each other. The people who died from vaping have all done it in an abnormal or just straight up wrong way.
