He's better than a democrat or a Romney or Jeb type republican, but both administrations have been disappointing.

I remember hearing Americanism not globalism will be our creedo at the 2016 GOP convention, yet the Kosher Conservatives are still running the show, even more so in 47 than 45.

Both big splashes, both high hopes, both had a lot of perceived floundering as the term progressed.

This is what happens when you’re not part of the machine. I’ll take Trump floundering over RINOcrats succeeding any day. As the latter is bad for me and those like me.

why Trump 45 was better?

He owns one, btw. Purchased at a palmetto State Armory store that he went to visit.

Anyone notice this is the new trend saying amongst “3x Trump supporters” who are staying home and predicting midterm doom for Trump? I’ve seen it posted here and on X by the same people who cry about Trump daily. Can any of those people on here how and why Trump 45 was better?

I'm a 0x Trump voter, but the reasons are apparent. Corruption was much lower in the first term, he attacked fewer countries in the four years of the first term that in the less than two years of the second term, with no longer-lasting wars initiated by him, the tariff situation was better in the first term, he wasn't weaponizing the justice system in the same way in the first term, he has much worse people in the administration in the second term, and he has visibly declined.

First, it's perfectly reasonable to acknowledge that 45 was way better than 47 while also thanking God that 47 is not Kamala and we're not still on 46.

I mean do you disagree?

45 left a good bit to be desired, but there was hope and positive momentum. That is severely diminished this term.

Both are still better than Biden 46.

That shouldn't be the bar.

We’ve only seen two years of 47. If midterms hold both house and senate it will be another huge achievement for Trump. He won’t have any impeachments in the next two years and will likely get Congress to play ball better than they did these first two years. He also has the possibility of wrapping up Iran soon which would be amazing if it’s done and over before his 4 year term.

Trump 45 was better but comparing Trump 45 and Trump 47 is basically a contest between two guy arguing over who has a smaller dick. They both sucked, but Trump 45 was better.

The few "small government" "Republicans" aka Liberaltarians with scorching cases of TDS teaming up with the most radical leftist Democrats in Congress to obstruct Trump and the majority of voters in America?

Yeah man. SO conservative.

You mean they didn't vote for increased spending, voted in favor of releasing the epstein files and voted against the Iran war.

All conservative positions.

Meanwhile, I don't see you complaining about republicans who didn't support these things:

but you said Trump 45 didnt start any new wars?

was the military action used to defeat the caliphate a "new war"?

and if not, why do you consider Iran a "new war"?

I'm against such actions, but no that is not the same thing.

If that happens, what can we see legislatively accomplished?

At this point, I only care about the Senate, not because of impeachment, but because of the Supreme Court. As much as I love the guy, Thomas is getting long in the tooth. I want someone just as or more conservative as him in that chair for a long time. Alito is getting old too. Having control of the Senate if something happens to the Wise Latina - even if the replacement is a Roberts type of justice - it would mean a massive upgrade over Sotomayor.

Newsflash: I know it's hard for some people on this website to comprehend this but Trump was elected to serve a 4 year term and not a 2 year term. In other words, he still has 2 years left in his term.

I'm pretty sure that some of you clowns on this website knew this, but I'm just making sure that you all were aware of this
