“Trump 45 was better than Trump 47”

Anyone notice this is the new trend saying amongst “3x Trump supporters” who are staying home and predicting midterm doom for Trump? I’ve seen it posted here and on X by the same people who cry about Trump daily. Can any of those people on here how and why Trump 45 was better?

Both are still better than Biden 46.

I view them similarly, tbh
Both big splashes, both high hopes, both had a lot of perceived floundering as the term progressed.
I think in each, Trump has not gotten as much credit as he should for things happening in the background. But I do think both have experienced real, signifiant message drift that is very fair game for criticism.

You also said there was no election shenanigans in 2020

To the degree that you and the others believe in yet can’t prove? Correct I do not believe so

This is 100%, in his first term he didn’t want to jump into the never ending war in the Middle East. Did a couple things for Israel of course, but nothing like this. The man is doing a full split on someone now.

He is way better on the 2nd Amendment this time around.

Well, the only idiotic foreign policy moves the first term was bombing some trash cans in Syria. He seemed a lot more independent then, I'll just say that. He also didn't seem as openly neocon with likes of Rubio and Waltz types running around, other than the Bolton derp. Pompeo was a skunk, I think everyone realizes that.
I'm kind of agnostic on the tariffs, but the behavior over them this term is ridiculous.
He just conducted himself a lot better overall. He has always trolled and been bombastic, but 2016 Trump would never have threatened to wipe out a civilization and I don't think would have made the Reiner tweet. He is way over the hill.

Less war and crackpottery in general.

I still laugh at how absolutely bricked up this board got on “bridge and power plant day” only to run interference and defense for Trump after he chickened out

Don’t worry we laugh every time you post

He and roncheckingaccountricks have been insufferable lately.

Trump is better now for a simple reason that many have forgotten. In his first term he didn't know a lot of leaders in the govt. beaurocracy. Between terms he had time to study who needed to be fired and who needed to be hired.

Notice how beefense, bunk and Boosie all commented yet we know they’ve never voted for Trump.

The sad part is that I did but you think it’s some badge of honor to not criticize your favorite politician at all no matter what

Trump 1.0 had decent intents
Trump 2.0 has grown tired with the grift, war, socialist moves and stupid comments

Sure ya did. And you also cry about 5k covid checks and massive debt yet none of you have said that which came from Trump 45.
