Dear Facebook blah blah blah I know, but this was a story she told me and I wanted to share it because the liberal Millennial Generation is rudderless. I have no sympathy for them, but I do hope they get their act together.

Now on to the story. Condensed version.

Her son is 30 living at home with no job, no education, no significant other and no family of his own.

He went to a SEC college out of high school, got caught up in the liberal agenda, fully embraced it due to feeling the pressure of fitting in and doing what is "right". He moved to a very liberal state and continued down this path until his father died.

His fathers death changed him. He realized that he has no money, no life and has wasted some of the best years of his life chasing the liberal dream. He moved home at the beginning of this year and then COVID hit. Early march he tried to take his own life with pills and alcohol. Luckily his mother found him in time and was able to get him to a hospital and they saved him.

He is now hoping to enroll in a local trade school to become a plumber.

It's a sad story to hear from the mother and to realize that these kids are supposed to be the future of our country.

Down vote away. Comment that none of this happened etc.

I don't care. I just wanted to tell the story in case it could be used for parents of liberal millennial to help their kids realize that twitter and things like the CHAZ/CHOP is not real life and it will eventually catch up with them.

I don't want to blame her, but it is probably her fault that she raised a cuck

The generation coming after this CHAZ/CHOP will be notably stronger and more conservative than this one. Actually, they scoff at their elder peers and mock them.

She does admit her part in all of this. They didn't do all they could early on to help him realize that what he wasnt doing was real life.

Is it wrong that the first thing I thought was "Did they test him for Covid before working on him?"

Some lost kid that you know of doesn’t represent the future of our country and neither does the tiny minority of young people that happen to have the loudest voices. Every generation complains about the next and declares the future lost, this is no different.

What the world needs is hope in the only real hope there is: Jesus.

It is a shame that people made in the image of God with an innate desire to worship something greater than themselves and a knowledge of God’s moral law choose to reject their creator and worship the creature (mankind, earth, etc.) and then live in despair for what they’ve done.

People need hope in redemption. Hope that pain and suffering isn’t all there is. That what they have done or how they have lived can be wiped away and a new start can be had.

Jesus offers these things through faith and trust in His work on the cross. His redemption covers all sins for those who trust in it. His death took away the stain of sin and gave us life. His resurrection guaranteed our own.

I hope all people see the mercy of God through His son Jesus and receive that mercy by faith. It is real hope.

The social science is clear on this. There is anxiety/ depression in this generation like never before. Social media and an ideologically- possessed culture has made them narcissistic , alienated and resentful. My personal observation from my kids and their friends is their attention span is possibly CLINICALLY or MEASURABLY different from all the humans that proceeded them . They live in a culture that is 1000 miles wide and an inch deep. They get everything, but nothing.

A plumber? I see a lot of crawl spaces in his future.
If I was starting out learning a trade, I would go with locksmith.

Plumbers make good money. Not sure about locksmiths.

He didn't really try.
Not meaning it harshly just realistically. He should love his mother more than that.
He's still liberal because he's still selfish.

Progressive-ism/socialism eats at your soul and strips every man of his ambition and dignity. It's a fricking disease and deadly.
