Whenever these stories initially break and we are reacting to them in real time, many “confirmed facts” end up being incomplete, inaccurate if not totally fabricated.
I understand and accept that many of our initial reactions to such stories will thus be speculation and subject to correction.
What I can’t understand is CA expressed her opinion on the matter (which turned out to be correct!) and not only was downvoted but was called a name.

Yeah, this is absurd. It's also how the Left approaches just about everything. If it's racist or violent, it was a white conservative, and if it wasn't actually a white conservative, a white conservative made the perpetrator/a-hole do it.
