Ignore the apologists. The pics that got scrubbed were grabbed beforehand. I've seen one that is definitely the shooter and it's pronouns are not known.

You and I and NC_Tigah were the only three with any reasoning when the board was hit with this nonsense last night. This board usually has more reasonable posters. Yet it seems even some of the usual posters fell for the hoax.
It says a lot that Paul Gosar has not issued a statement saying he was wrong.

It is good that some are still reasonable; but I now agree with you and Powerman and a few other lefty posters last night. So I may need a break, or to realize this board is filled with loons now.

The non-reddit image was cited as originating on the shooter's social media. Now maybe that citation is made up. But no media site is actually claiming the non-reddit transgender image is not the shooter.
At least none with any evidence as far as I've seen. Instead, they refer to the reddit coca-cola tranny image(s). Then imply they are referring to all of the tranny pics. Those implications are inevitably wordsmithed enough to fool bright folks like AggieHank86.

I just don't think that those two photos show the same person. The one in the dress has a thinner nose and straighter nostrils, plus a MUCH thinner face.
Can some of that be explained by a year or two difference in the age at time of photo? Maybe. We will see in the coming days.

There are without doubt some opinionated assholes here who don’t like admitting they are wrong* but that doesn’t mean the board is filled with loons.
