Weird quote from the Dems
"The bill updates outdated language that incorrectly ties pedophilia to a person's sexual orientation. Nothing in the bill changes or weakens any of the crimes against children, or the state's ability to prosecute those who break the law," Minnesota House Judiciary Committee Chair Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL-Roseville) told TND in a statement.
They are specifically removing the statutory language that says that attraction to kids is NOT a sexual orientation. Seems like the complete opposite of what this woman is saying. It's like their logic is having the law says pedophilia isn't a sexual orientation is ACTUALLY making a statutory connection between being a pedophile and being gay. Is there a logic I am missing?
