“The totality of the findings resulted in a diagnosis of pediatric physical abuse,” court documents show.
A warrant was authorized in early September, charging 43-year-old Kieran L. Ansley with four counts of child abuse. Two of the charges, second-degree child abuse, are 10-year felonies. Ansley is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of fourth-degree child abuse.
Born in November 2025, the baby girl was four months premature, family members said. She made progress and was slated to go home in April, the family said.
“She was born at 23 weeks: 1 pound, 1 ounce,” grandfather Robert Steavens said. “And she made it through her due date, ready to go home. And then two days before she was ready to go home, this happened.”

How do you abuse a premature baby in the ICU to the point of breaking multiple bones without anybody else noticing?
Why did other nurses and doctors not notice what should have been obvious signs of abuse?
Will they go back and investigate every child that has been in this thing's care? How many babies in the ICU have died while this person was working?

If I was that babies father or grandfather the state wouldn’t have to worry about giving him a trial.

It happened in April, finally charged.
I saw other accounts saying 10 years, dont know if it is out on bond or the condition of the baby.
