I referenced a similar thought recently. My view is that they were never Republican or conservative. At worst, they are disguised leftist and at best uniparty people.

So did the most recent public swing state polls but those are a little out of date. Plus, Axelrod is part of the machine with his own agenda, I wouldn’t take anything he says like that at face value.

How is she doing in the sunbelt?
In 2020 Biden was installed because of his "working class" background and how it would play in the midwest. Kamala doesn't have that, instead - I think she appeals more to professionals - especially, though not exclusively, professional women. The type of people populating metro Atlanta and metro Phoenix.
I think that is what Democrats mean when they say she replacing Biden gives them more avenues to win - and they may be right.

New Montana poll has Trump up 15 (Trump won Montana by 16% in 2020).
Since yesterday’s update, Harris has become a heavier favorite on PredictIt, extending lead from 6 cents to 9 cents.

ggod grief, if you believe Harris is leading you are a special kind of stupid, but make no mistake its close and that should tell you all you need to know about where this country is heading, if that many people are ready for another 4 years of what we just went through just because they get their feelings hurt, we are in serious trouble as a country.
