No doubt you’re right the country’s youth could use more discipline, we all could, but it doesn’t come from a draft, it comes from the family unit.

A draft would have to be authorized by Congress with an overwhelming vote to be put in place. A nuclear attack on Chicago with a million fatality resulting type experience would be the catalyst.
A draft would require setting up draft selection offices in every county in the United States using the same set of rules. Far bigger impact than the ICE illegal program.
It was available for use in Viet nam because the program was already in place coming off the Korean War and world war 2.
Iran's activity does not justify the draft, nor would it get congress support

Given his proclaimed stances and stated goals, explain the negative outcomes by declaring we won't have a draft or even won't put boots on the ground.
