Plot twist:

You should be shocked, astonished, and appalled about something related to failure that stemmed from American citizens having Constitutional Rights to do [insert thing they want to take away and/or control].

Meanwhile, Several senior Secret Service officials who planned to retire soon have been encouraged to do so more urgently to escape the scrutiny from Congress over the next several months.

Fox News has been informed that several high-level Secret Service officials who have either direct or indirect connections to the Butler, Pennsylvania security situation are retiring. While the employees are eligible for retirement, they’ve been encouraged by senior leadership to do so more quickly to avoid lengthy congressional interviews and investigations.
Let's say Trump was killed. Would these people still just retire early?

Even if they retire, they can be compelled to testify. Nothing escapes that.

Holy shite. Blumenthal ? The man who single handedly held the line during the Tet offensive killing hundreds of Charlies with his bare hands and razor sharp teeth?

He’s going to be surprised to learn that the moonbat cray cray wing of his Party is still clinging bitterly and desperately to their fever dream that Trump set up his very own assassination attempt.

Watters had on Hawley. They are mad that the acting director will only meet with Congress behind closed doors. The female agent in charge of Butler failed many original USSS tests and was put in charge.

Also that the DHS is powering down on the USSS to NOT provide documents to Congress.

I think Blumenthal is pacifying with his shocking shock, and someone may write a strongly worded letter again.

His play is that it wasn't planned so it means any candidate, the President or even (and especially) they themselves could just as easily be targets in what they are usually assured are secure venues. This has nothing to do with love nor hate of Trump, simply a rare instance of politicians and their self-interests aligning with good, long-term strategies.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), says forthcoming report on Trump assassination attempt "will absolutely shock the American people."
Blumenthal knows the report is going to make Democrats look really bad.

He is only trying to get on the "winning side". He has always pulled this type of trick.

I think Democrats think they know the answer all the time. When they actually start looking at facts, I think it opens some eyes,

The evidence is irrefutable and he’s gotta be on the right side of it.

Skepticism is warranted... hopefully he is saying this now because he realizes his "team" just tried to assassinate Trump and he just realized the true evil that has aligned on his side of the aisle. One can hope... but he's a politician. So, there is more likely than not some angle to it that he thinks benefits him politically.

This was incompetence on multiple levels pure and simple, not a conspiracy.

The "incompetence" was part of the conspiracy. If you don't see that, you're one naive motherfricker.
