You are absolutely correct.
It is PURE "evil" to not want to own stock in a company run by a man whose political views you do not share.
That is some deep analysis, my friend. I am impressed by your incisive analysis.
Tesla stock doubled in the month following the election of the President Musk campaigned for and promised to work for.
Sounds like it's not so simplistic as you claim.

the thing with tesla and elon is, i'm not sure where the EV market goes from here
all the mandates are gone, only a few people are buying EVs now, just because.
also it's not like we have some kind of nationwide robust charging network without tesla's superchargers
american public seems more than content with going back to gas powered everything full bore
Rivian/Lucid are gonna squeezed out soon
Tesla does have hefty ambitions with Optimus and the Robotaxi...
but what else? Q1 is about to dish out some pretty underwhelming delivery numbers, even with a redesigned Model Y.

In fact, real Tesla investors know that 2027 is when the stock is going to really move.
Why?

This is one of the most retarded takes I’ve ever heard. This guy really thinks liberals will stop the boycott and vandalism against Tesla if Musk steps down as CEO?
The reason Tesla’s stock is as high as it is, is because of Musk. No other CEO out there can bring Tesla’s stock back up, only Musk can with time.

Good EV’s will still do fine. I don’t think you’ll see a ton of growth but it’s at a sustainable level with a little room to grow. People are starting to understand that they DO make sense if you’re already in the market for a new car and need a “Point A to B” car.

The only reason Rivian is in business is because of subsidies. No one buys their trucks and they’re the most unreliable vehicle in the market. The “Elon takes subsidies” bros are awfully quiet about that.

Nah not yet. Left all those lefties shake and rattle a bit so the continue to unload their Tesla stock. Then jump in and side it up alongside a Elon spaceship

So you check the political affiliation of EVERY company you invest in?
And the number who want to sell has driven down the stock price.
That is a strange little thing that we call "reality."
And a shrewd investor (especially a large one) takes a look at this "reality" and asks "Why is the value of my stock decreasing, and what can I do about it?"

So do you actively try to be this stupid or what?

Are you going to cry about it?

Certainly you are capable of a rational discussion, without resorting to such childish comments.

But I do sometimes wonder why ... certain people ... are allowed to post such things on the regular, while other posters are prohibited from responding in kind.
A strange dichotomy.

There’s a help board. You should ask that question there

The funny thing about this thread is as of 4 years an overwhelming majority on here said they would never own an EV. Now people are advocating to buy an EV.
Also people saying political affiliation shouldn't affect stock price when a majority on here we saying they'd never support Disney again. Thats why the stock was dropping.

Lol, Gerber isn't a major Tesla investor. He has been calling for Elon to step down since he bought Twitter, so this isn't even news. There is fear in the market and all tech stocks are down. Yes, the stuff in the news hurts Tesla more than the others short term because of fear and bad reporting. Car sales were down mostly because of a very important reason that the news didn't tell people. It will all be clear in the next few months, all it takes is actual research and not news from the leftist media that want Tesla to fail. Yes, they have hurt the stock short term and this isn't the first time they have done it. That is actually good for people who invest in Tesla, because there is a sell on Tesla stock. The stock market is one of the few places that people actually run out of the store when a sell is going on.
For people asking why about 2027, do some research. It's almost like this AI stuff is real.....

What's interesting is that many want companies and CEOs to be non-political but not in this case....
.... and I can probably count myself among them...

Understandable. In addition to all his hard work, it's depressing merely to realize we are surrounded by so many fools.

Elon holds the most shares of any individual. Its obvious the media is trying to elevate this guy for the purpose of harming Tesla.
