Top Ten Best-Selling Beers Have LGBT Partnerships - Here's the One That Was Boycotted for Endorsing Trump

Bickerton noted each of these beers is owned by only three companies. Coors Light and Miller Lite are owned by Molson Coors, Corona and Modelo are owned by Constellation Brands while the rest are all owned by Anheuser-Busch.

What the Newsweek reporter did not mention was the fact America’s largest wholly-American-owned brewery, Yuengling beer, was actually boycotted in 2016 after its CEO endorsed then-candidate Donald Trump’s run for president.

Yuengling is an inexpensive real beer.

So, then, it's Yuengling that shall be the new beer of choice.

Yeungling? It’s decent. They expanded at the right time.

I’ve switched to Yuengling. Went to local bar last night for a few hours, know the manager and staff. They have 3 taps and 2 were always bud light with 1 miller light.

Talked with her her about sales she said BL was way down and they took out 1 BL tap and installed Yuengling. Said she is close to removing the 1 remaining BL tap due to no one buying it, and likely put in another Yuengling. Yuengling just came to our state in Jan. But she is waiting to make sure its sustained loss.

Not long after someone I had never seen sat down at bar, barkeep asks him what he wants, he asks whats on tap. She tells him and he says “no tranny fluid for me I’ll have Yuengling”. I asked him if he recently changed beers and he said BL was his go to for years but gave it up due to recent events (he was new and didn’t want to mention woke not knowing the crowd and trying to be as nuetral as possible). I told him he was not alone in changing.

A bit later I noticed the Bud Light lighted sign was gone asked manager what happened. She said someone had unplugged it and a few days later someone broke it claiming it was accident. She took it down and is not replacing it.

Everyone but 1 at bar top was drinking Yuengling tap or bottles the other Miller Light. Small sample size but at end of 2nd quarter is when financial numbers come out and we’ll all see results. Lost sales are lost sales and can’t be made up. Even if everyone went back to BL today, the 14 days of lost sales are still lost sales.

I’d also love to see Yuengling sales.

Be careful in being too dedicated, as once the daughters fully take over things can change.

Definitely 1 is a lesbo, maybe 2. I believe one "married" a woman. Also, I posted an article in a thread that has one saying they need to keep up with the changes in their customer base.

I generally drink Heineken, Becks or an Eastern European pilsner, but Yuengling is a descent substitute. There are a lot of small breweries around now that make some good beers too.

When I was but a wee lad, my grandfather would always give me a sip of beer if I went and got it for him.

Bought a six-pack of it yesterday evening. I don't really drink much but heard good things on this board. I primarily wanted more than virtue-signaling my displeasure with AB.

BTW, Bud Light was virtually untouched at the neighborhood Walmart I visited.

Yep and it’s made right across the state line from me & for whatever reason it just became available in Ohio a few years ago. They made a big deal about it when it happened I guess kinda like coors for the Yankees

You may be right but so far they are not using woke advertising and gaining market share. And likely learning what not to do from BL.

No one cares how anyone lives their lives its only when they try to push their life style on others that things go south.

If they push the trannie agenda, after seeing the push back on AB, then they deserve what they get.

Until they do, however, they are a legitimate option for a decent beer.

I also like the local brews where I live.
Abita and Gnarly Barley have some solid selections imho.

Yuengling is hit or miss. Lager is ok, Flight and Pilsner are good., as is the Hershey’s Porter (seasonal). Black and Tan,Chesterfield Ale and Porter are acquired tastes. They used to sell a variety case, don’t know if they still do. I’ve been drinking one form of Yuengling or another for 40 years.

The problem for Budweiser is the timing as we are sliding fast down the slippery slope where child mutilation and grooming is the current step.

If AB wants our business back, come out loud against grooming and child mutilation.

We get it. You prefer a mango-flavored Menstrual Cramp sour.

Didn't say it wasn't. Just that people need to be careful with thinking that they are going to maintain the father's MAGA trend once he is out of the picture.

Drink it, I have started to, but don't get all emotionally attached to them being something they are now, but could change down the road. This is how/why companies think they are able to screw over their loyalist to no end.

My comment shouldn't have been that hard to comprehend...

Hopefully they'll learn from the fall of Bud. But either way it's not a lifelong commitment.
