Pennsylvania is starting to get overrun by New Yorkers and Indians. People are heading south.

I like Louisiana, but i acknowledge that we are not a great state. If you dont have family, or a decent friend network, there's really no reason to be here.

What about for fishing / boating ?

Would be genuinely curious to learn of any count that looks at state population changes for legal residents only, as the census, which most of these types of things use, includes illegals.

I imagine there would be some pretty eye opening numbers for a few states.

Well, let's see: In the other nine jackass Dem states the women act more like men than the men do. And the politics? They're messed up in every state, not a one is exempt.

I read the “fit” point as likely referencing being the only state is the Southeast/Sunbelt.

Traditionally when you look at census rates for migration, Louisiana is not very transient. Few people move there and few people move away.

Connecticut is getting a huge influx of people who’ve been priced out of NYC. No way they’re losing more than they’re gaining

Connecticut is hardly a refuge for getting priced out of anywhere.

Funny how people from Louisiana call Georgia a "Shithole"

Georgia on the whole has great areas to live.

Atlanta isn’t one of those areas. Atlanta is a shithole.

This could be anywhere in the gulf really. Great place for duck hunting though.

I live in Louisiana. Atlanta is relatively clean and beautiful in comparison to any city in Louisiana.

Hills and nice parks in and around the city. I have to assume this is sour grapes, because it just isn’t true.

So true. Blue staters moving to red states and trying to turn them blue. A saying my uncle used to tell California implants...

"you moved here because you didn't like there. Please don't change here into there. I didn't move there and try to change there into here. Why would you do that. If you really like the way it is there, why not stay there. The reason you moved here is because you like what we did here and not there"

There are a buncha of Wokesters who have found their way to NW Arkansas and Southern MO over the past 10-15 years.....it's something to keep in mind if you're thinking about retiring in that geographic area.

California implants are such an imaginary boogeyman. I’ve met triple the amount of people who have moved to Colorado, Idaho, and Florida from Louisiana than from California.
Granted, the Cali transplants are sporting USC, UCLA stuff like the LSU people.
I’m in Boulder 3-4 months every year and yet to meet someone (not a student) who moved here from Cali. Florida and Texas seem to be the #1 answer. Heat and jobs seem to be the number one reason.

You can have your bland arse North Eastern food. Poutine or whatever.

ETA: the question was what does Louisiana have that is superior to the other States on that list, not anywhere else.
