regarding Merrick Garland, make sure you go watch the position of the democrats and Obama during that same time. Just like McConnel, they are making the opposite argument that they did back then. Dems aren't any different. They are all hypocrites. It isn't about truth or due process, it's about politics. Period. And...elections have consequences. So shut up.

He claims that the difference is that the Senate and Presidency were occupied by different parties, which makes all the difference.

Well one was nominated in March, and one won't be nominated until maybe October. Republicans wouldn't allow a vote, then when they couldn't get their guy though, they changed the rules to only need a simple majority.

Didn't Biden say during the 1992 Bush vs Clinton campaign that Bush shouldn't nominate somebody until after the election because the Presidency and Senate majority were opposing parties? Thats the precedent Mitch followed in 2016. Not opposing parties in the White House and Senate this time around
