Does anyone here really believe this?
It is not being reported anywhere else. Why would anyone give this asshat any credibility?

Not really an upside. They rarely do anything good.
I imagine Zelensky being happy when Congress is “at work” these past couple of years or so but not really getting a good sense for anything else they’ve been good for.

Can they even be appointed yet? I mean the old guys are still in their official capacity until the swearing in right?

Good, we shouldn't change the norm of confirming department heads because Trump is a cry baby and wants things done his way.
If it was just department heads, I'd agree but I was listening to Wilkow Majority today and he had Sen Ron Johnson of Wisconsin on discussing this very thing. He said that because of how huge the government has become, they still have to vote to approve all of the appointments, not just the heads of departments. He said that equated to over 1,200 confirmation hearings. He basically said they've become an HR department because of the amount of time spent on confirmations.

President Obama made 32 recess appointments, all to full-time positions. During his presidency, President William J. Clinton made 139 recess appointments, 95 to full-time positions and 44 to part-time positions. President George W. Bush made 171 recess appointments, 99 to full-time positions and 72 to part-time positions.

Oh, you mean now that it's Trump's turn, he doesn't get to do what Obama and Biden did?
Sure, Jan. Sit down. You're not supposed to stand up while riding the short bus.

Biden did it? I think you are confused. How many DEPARTMENT HEADS did Obama do this with? None.

I hear there might be a few recess appointments in the near future.
