It's horseshite (at least, the man-made side of it [obviously, the climate changes...otherwise, there'd still be a mile thick sheet of ice on top of present day Chicago]).

Half of these idiots think the earth is 6,000 years old. They won’t be swayed by facts.

Biggest hoax and money scam ever perpetrated on human beings. All so elites can gain more control and scam hundreds of billions from people.

If you're talking about potholes, litter, trashy people, and criminals, I'm in. I'd call it a degenerating cultural climate.

The climate is supposed to change. But we are headed into and ice age at the moment.

Direct measurements of the Sun indicate a reduction in solar activity over the past 40–50 years, which would theoretically cause cooling across the solar system. Get ready now, buckos.

It’s a scam to reduce your quality of life while elected toadies follow orders and use the coercion of the “law” to force us into submission.

Humans have been burning fossil fuels for like 0.0000001% of the existence of the earth. I have a hard time believing we’ve set a course for total destruction during that time. We have a much bigger impact on the environment than the weather.

Thoughts on global warming/climate change?

My thought - the “Crisis!!!” went away when Silicon Valley learned that their businesses will need enormous power-sucking data centers to survive.

There’s not much left for them but Ice Crisis and Savannahs Mommy

Very reasonable to think that billions of humans existing on the planet can have an impact on the ecosystem. How material of impact and the timing of such impact are highly debatable.

That religion has been quiet lately. I wonder why.

Earth has gone through, at least, five ice ages. By definition, you have to have global warming before the next ice age.

so just keep denying the reality you see around you everyday .. im sure that strategy will work out awesome .

What reality? There are three regarding climate change.
1. There is the reality Al Gore, and the alarmists, have been warning us about. This “reality” has already been proved laughably wrong. Glacier National Park had to take down the signs that told us that the glaciers would be completely melted by 2021.
2. Then there is the reality of the global warming scientific advocates. These models warn us that the climate is getting warmer due to human activity. But their data shows an actual warming that is unobservable by humans without instruments. The earth just hasn’t warmed enough over the last 20 years to notice. Note that weather patterns have changed, leaving some places noticeably warmer…and other places colder, but that’s not average earth temperatures they are noticing.
3. Lastly, there is reality itself. The models in number two above consistently depart from observable data within five years of publication. And the departure is always such that the observable data is cooler than the models projected. This indicates that there is something wrong with the assumptions underlying these models, but those assumptions never get changed because they are part of the narrative that undergirds the hoax.

My summary of my view

Global warming facts are:

1-1.5C rising global temp since 1800s. The warming trend is consistent across datasets (NASA, NOAA, UK Met Office).

Greenhouse gases are rising.

Visible changes of glaciers and Arctic sea level rising

Ocean warming and acidification.

Is this man-made or nature?

Case for man-made

Greenhouse gases match fossil fuel signatures. Carbon isotopes show the increase comes from burning fossil fuels, not natural sources

How?
More carbon appears to be coming from plant-derived sources (fossil fuels). Falling 13 and 14 Carbon isotopes are indicative of fossil fuel fingerprint and not volcano, oceans or natural cycles.

Why?
- Volcanos emit carbon with different isotopes.

- Oceans don’t match the observed isotope shift.

- Natural cycles would not cause this specific isotope trend observed.

- Climate models match reality (when human factors are included). Models using only natural factors (solar, volcanoes) fail to explain modern warming. However, when including human emissions, they match observed temperature trends more closely.

It’s like a fingerprint. Except it’s in the atmosphere. Fossil fuels = “ancient plant carbon signature”. This signature is showing up more and more in the air.

We are not just seeing more CO2. We are seeing CO2 with the exact identity of fossil fuels.

The case against climate change

Climate has always changed naturally

This is true. However, current warming is much faster than natural cycles.

The sun is causing warning

Lower atmosphere warms while upper atmosphere cools. This pattern matches greenhouse gases, not solar.

There are cooling periods.

Early 2000s speaks for itself.

However, the long term trend (not short term things like el ninio) are powerful

Climate models are unreliable

True. However, despite imperfections, they’ve been accurate over decades. Multiple independent models converge on similar outcomes.

My conclusion
If I push politics and greedy climatology-fueled pocket-filling by politicians aside and look at the whole system over long term with multiple credentialed facts, I conclude something human influenced is happening.
Evidence is stronger than the rhetoric.

FYI - I worked in fossil fuel for 30yrs. Not that it really matters.

Al Gore's prediction years ago never panned out, yet he had companies buy into carbon credits and took it to the bank big time!. He recently made another "bold" prediction about what is going to happen 25 years from now. You know there is something in it for him. He won't be around to be ridiculed about it this time. He has nothing to lose.

Other than natural processes, the global warming scare is almost entirely a hoax based on scientific fraud and corrupt politics.

Real climate change looks like this:
