Think about this:

A lot of kids are from broken homes. No school. Where do they stay? Many will be with grandparents.

Again, this isn't about safety or solving anything.

Wow. I didn’t see that. Thanks for sharing. I’m glad he cleared that up. That makes me a feel a little better about our situation. I agree - accurate information is vital right now.

I was gonna say...I’m in the health system here in southeast Michigan (not Beaumont) and that’s a gross over exaggeration.

Are there young people being hospitalized? Absolutely. But our numbers seem to trend with the given statistics out there.

Stay safe and be well everyone

Wish we had a media more interested in telling the truth rather than blowing smoke up everyones arse.

I figured that was BS. That situation doesn't exist in NOLA at this time and it's hard hit.

Wait. This therapist is scared enough to go to the media, but not willing to identify himself or give any relevant details?

Sounds like everything we’ve come to see from the media recently.

Serious effects of the virus are not exclusive to those with underlying health issues( although they’re at greater risk)

We should all stay inside forever.

That needs to be the solution.

nobody said they're exclusive to them

it's just highly unlikely that people without underlying health issues will be affected severely. like up to 90% or so

I think this is a bit overstated.

Sounds like bull shite. The hospitals in New Orleans where there are hundreds of cases dont have all ventilators in use yet.

Not true...

I know we are currently renting vents because our own inventory is being used. We actually got vents from Children’s to use on non-Covid pt’s who or clean..

Oschner is currently running around 60 vents and purchasing more...

You forgot to read the conclusion to the research...

No, I read the conclusion, but my point that obviously went over your head, was that before you decide which patient out of two gets a ventilator in dire emergencies, there are other less ideal options. Which was meant to demonstrate this anonymous therapist doesn't exist.

I'm just going to take down my original post about the Doc spreading misinformation in Michigan...I read the link where the doctor was made to "fess up".
