Put Trump in place of Bush in this scenario and the headline would be Trump inappropriately cracks jokes during funeral

To paraphrase a very old SNL skit I watched the other day, "The corrupt Political Establishment been very, very good for us."

Of course they want to go back to business-as-usual. $$$ The attendants at that funeral yesterday were, collectively, a symbol of everything that's been wrong in American politics for the past 7 decades.

Look at that crowd and just think of the tax dollars they have stolen from your family.

Every one of them is rich beyond any salary they took.

When seeing this kind of interaction, it makes me think that DC is nothing but a programmed "drama" to keep us "programmed" with "actors" we call politicians.

All Politics is Local is the one expression we must remember and hold dear. By doing so, you can forget about centralization which must not ever be allowed to occur.

That's what that crowd make-up was all about and why it was all over the news and people talking about it. They wanted to demonstrate how traditional Dems and Republicans were aligned against Orange Hitler. Those of us who are old enough to remember and don't have selective amnesia, remember that Dems absolutely HATED W. and Cheney. They ran stories on 60 minutes about how they had their political rivals imprisoned... look into Don Siegelman. Dems couldn't not talk about how Cheney was the most evil MFer and Darth Vader, a war criminal etc.

Now, through the bonds of TDS (and treason), they are all big buddies.

What a crock of shite.

To paint that group in Norman Rockwellian imagery while ignoring the deep animosity that exists between Kamala & Joe, Jill, as well as others, all for the sake of virtue signaling a unified front against Trump is all anyone needs to know.

America chose Trump, and these folks hate you for it.

Hold the line.

They publicly hated the man but now adore him. If their mouth is moving they are lying.

Ol’ Chris pines for those UniParty days when the country could continue it’s march Leftward and “good” Pubs would dutifully stay in their lane when push came to shove.

A group of people with a large number of shared experiences behaving collegiately towards one another at a public event.

The horror.

Obama was just as polarizing

BHO and LBJ = two most disastrous POTUS in our history - and Biden's was nothing but an extension of Obama's.

Biden himself was just a worthless piece of shite - with no acumen for anything other than corruption. All the strings were pulled by the same ones who ran Obama's admin, with Obama merely being the voice.

What bothers me about that picture is the hierarchy that is imposed on the attendees. Notice that the former Presidents are seated in the front? Then the higher ranking VPs, then cabinet members and senators, etc.

We are supposed to be an egalitarian society. When someone leaves the Presidency he returns to the demos. He is equal to us all. There should be no special seating, and Bush and Biden should be embarrassed to be treated as dignitaries. They should wander in with the crowd and find a seat just like everyone else.
