I mean accidents happen and girls do get pregnant, especially younger ones that don’t know any better about contraception or have access to it. I’d be in favor of having government paid for IUDs for girls and having them available as soon as they have their first period if we are going to go about banning abortion. Honestly that would be the best option overall but there are still instances where abortions are necessary and if we ban all places that administer them it’s going to have a real negative effect on women who need it.

Neither position is hypocrisy because those decisions are not analogous per the person making them. This is because pro-abortion folks do not recognize the fetus as a person, and the anti-vaxer does not recognize the vaccine as an effective way of stopping the spread of China virus.
If these positions are accepted as true then the debates boil down to: Should a woman have sole say in whether a tumor is removed from her body? And should an anti-vaxer be the sole determiner of what he eats or drinks? The answers to both are obviously YES - if you accept their premises.

I have some close friends who are pro-choice advocates (both worked for Planned Parenthood) ….and they are ardent vegans too.

I think birth control arm implants are better than IUD's. But people are dumb and would run around giving each other the herp if they thought they didn't need to use any kind of protection anymore.
Why doesn't everyone do what my parents did: explain to their kids that unintended pregnancy will ruin your life, and some STD's are incurable and could kill you. None of my siblings or me have children out of wedlock, nor do any of us have the herp or AIDS. (We're all happily married with kids, so this approach didn't turn us into incels). So far, this approach has worked for our own kids, too.
These days, add in showing kids the studies that show that too many sexual partners makes it impossible for people to form the emotional bonds necessary for a good marriage.
And if you want to get really radical, show kids that ol' Bible. The crazy idea of 1 man and 1 woman and not screwing around before marriage is in there. I get that it's cool to reject it these days, but secular science backs these ideas up.

Then how can a person be charged with double murder if they kill a pregnant mother and her unborn child?
