Would be great news for the war in Iran considering the two countries are providing each other weapons while Russia provides intel and Iran allows them through the strait. While Ukraine provides interceptors to our gulf allies.

I messaged a friend of mine in St Petersburg. He said that the Mir payment system is supposedly fixed in Moscow according to the news. It is still sketchy in St Petersburg where he lives and is completely out in Pskov where his sister and parents live. He said that police officers had to be deployed to banks to keep order today. So I would imagine it’s fixed nationwide before it has an impact on either conflict.

Russian citizens for good or bad love their country. They gravitate to strong leaders..
While they may not be as advanced than us I would hate to get in a war with them. They are built for attrition and willing to go all in if needed.
