Media continues to try and rewrite history in the face of a forever internet.

Trump took this more seriously than the pearl clutchers of today.

The made up story about Trump disrespecting dead soldiers was DOA, so on to the next “crisis”.

I think this actually makes Trump look better. He took some actions to try and deal with it while trying not to create a panic with the population. Isn't that what a good leader is supposed to do?

When Trump downplayed Covid, individual people around the country downplayed covid and ignored mask & social distancing recommendations.

An HONEST assessment of the ACTUAL numbers (not the made up ones) prove Trump is correct once again.

Yeah, I ain't no Trump honk by any means, but what was he supposed to do? Tell everyone to panic and we're all gonna die? He had pretty tight restrictions in place to address the virus, and he had star boy Fauci and Dr. Scarf out there sounding the alarm bells daily.

How many people ignored liberal mayors and liberal governors around the country. Have seen hundreds of photos and videos of liberals ignoring their liberal politicians. Good try.

Karl Rove just had a spot on comment: “Every President does a Bob Woodward book, then later comes to regret it.”

I don’t know why an Republican President would talk to Woodward. No matter what you say or talk about, it’ll get spun into something bad.

So they are OK with Fauci for telling the country not to wear mask back in Feb/March to keep people from panic buying face mask.

But it's not OK for Trump to downplay Covid-19 and compare it to the flu, even though it is a flu.
This will go over like a turd in a punch bowl for the Liberals. What a joke.

This is the stupidest gotcha. No President should ever walk out and incite panic. If this is even true.
If Obama had said it... They would be writing: "Obama provided a sense of peace and calm to the citizens of the US as he displayed a brave face while learning of the dangers ahead of the nation. He spread hope in a time of fear."

The CDC and WHO both said there was no reason for healthy people to wear masks. In fact, they pleaded with people not to buy masks due to the demand in hospitals.

Dr. Faucci, the Director of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases who has served 6 presidents, laughed at the idea and advised against people wearing masks (and he said the virus was nothing Americans needed to worry about early on). The experts gave that advice. Trump didn't go against the expert advice he was given.

Trump also shut down the economy back in March. Seems like that was pretty serious.

You fricking imbeciles act like the United States is a kindergarten class and Trump is our teacher. Grown-ups do research and base decisions on that and good old common sense. Children wait for the grown-ups to tell them what to do. Which one are you Mickey?

1. POTUS absolutely should do what he can to prevent mass panic, which is why any POTUS would not push fear over a virus. Trump never stated this wasn't serious; he simply eased us into the crisis in order to prevent panic stricken chaos

2. Trump's biggest flaw is his trust in others. Unless there is some secret play here by him, it does appear he trusted Woodward to be on the up. It does go to show how talented Woodward is as a journalist, because he is able to get his enemy who is on guard to drop that guard and trust him. Yes Woodward is a dishonest hack, but he's a talented one. Trump never should've agreed to any of these interviews, which is where he made his mistake

3. People will be fooled into thinking this means Trump killed thousands. Yes it's preposterous, but NPCs will NPC. This will hurt Trump in the short term, but ultimately this was played way too early.

4. Which means Trump is winning. They know COVID is the only issue where Trump is losing, so they are trying to redirect the narrative to this.

The public generally doesn't care because they know they have a zero percent chance of dying.

Covid is hoax.

Democrats rioting and looting and the D.C. march proved that.

He did that right after Fauci and the CDC did, as well as the WHO. There are several videos of this.
