And had nothing to do with Biden's policy. The Chinese, in 2023/2024, slapped strict regs on NPP, which is a primary ingredient in fentanyl, which decreased output from Mexican drug cartels. So 2024 was the new normal with Chinese regs and open borders. 2025 onward is the new normal with Chinese regs and a much tighter border. If you're a bubba just looking at line graphs you don't know what you're talking about.
Well, Bubba went back and looked at the numbers, and they still don’t help your argument much. Put your shoes on baw, let me tell you something that’ll help you out and get it cleared up. Walk with me here.
You’re right that fentanyl deaths started climbing hard under Obama. Nobody is disputing that. Trouble is, they kept climbing under Trump. The CDC rate was 6.2 in 2016, then 9.0 in 2017, 9.9 in 2018, 11.4 in 2019 and 17.8 in 2020. So saying it started under Obama doesn’t somehow erase what happened during Trump’s four years.
And before you start schooling Bubba on fentanyl, you might want to get your NPP dates straight. China put controls on NPP and 4 ANPP back in 2018. Not 2023. Not 2024. The new restrictions in 2024 were on other chemicals used to make fentanyl.
You also say China’s actions had nothing to do with Biden, but Biden and Xi restarted cooperation on fentanyl in late 2023, the two countries set up a working group, and China started taking more action against chemical suppliers after that. I’m not saying Biden deserves all the credit. There were several reasons overdose deaths came down. That’s the point. Real life is usually a little messier than picking one cause and pinning a medal on your favorite politician.
And that nice clean story about 2024 being the “open border normal” and 2025 being the “tight border normal” is a little too neat for the facts. Crossings had already dropped sharply after Biden tightened the rules in June 2024, and CBP says most of the fentanyl it catches is seized at legal ports of entry.
So go ahead and call me Bubba for looking at line graphs. Bubba had the good sense to read the dates underneath the graphs too baw.

Fair correction. I'm not a fentanyl chemist I just know I read about 2023/2024 regs and got the involved ingredients mixed up.

China is doing some work, but not as much as they could.
Closing the border has saved lives. Lots of lives. That's my point. Not sure why you're trying to argue here.

Of course most of the fentanyl it catches are located in the areas they're looking at the most.

I have it figured out. When you commie lefties complete your mutual jerk off sessions in your private discord room....you hit the poliboard en masse. "We'll show em boys!....to the TD poliboard "
You’ve apparently spent enough time thinking about this to invent a private Discord, a coordinated deployment schedule and imaginary dialogue for people you don’t even know baw. Meanwhile my theory was just that a few of y’all sit around refreshing the Poli Board all day.
I do appreciate you bringing supporting evidence though bubba.
And the “mutual jerk off sessions” stuff has that usual middle school maga idiot cafeteria energy. You’re trying awfully hard to make posting on the TigerDroppings political board sound like storming Normandy.
Nobody is assembling the troops, chief. People just wander in, read whatever fresh maga porch gnat material got posted that morning, laugh at it, and move along with their day.

I don't know why people ever allow themselves the opportunity for disappointment.
I wouldn't blame people for liking one of theirs prose. I used to like Tucker's monologues. He was always good at that style of writing and entertainment. Very effective.
That being said, the guy always struck me as a bit "off." The others on that list. Candace is similar to Tucker, but she's not as good at it. She isn't as good at being crazy as he is. She just chooses controversial takes that come out of 4-chan and runs with it.
Aside from Mark Levin, I don't know about their editorial chops. Mark, the great one, Levin would always crack me up with how off the rails he could go. But he DID make one point that resonates with me to this day. NEVER let your enemy control the language, and that's what the conservatives have done. They've punted any time the pressure got to be a bit much. Can call out Mark Levin all you want on his rabid love for Israel, but he is no dummy.

All of these people with the exception of maybe Kent were lauded over on this board. I can remember when Massie was considered......."bssed" or Carlson was considered a sage, Candace was a darling of this board some years ago. MTG was almost deified up until less than a year ago when all of a sudden the b.s.was too much for her.

Spot on about Trump, but few here will acknowledge it. They’re too invested after being duped…

His recent monologue about people like Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro is fantastic. He does an excellent job detailing the increasingly insane positions of the boomercons like them.
I don’t always agree with him, but he nailed this one.

I trump you with Barrack Obama and Joe Biden. The man from nowhere and the man without a functioning brain

I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to say Trump was the easy choice in the election but he’s obviously abandoned his campaign promises.
He has betrayed us for Israel and yet even now I wouldn’t hesitate to pull the lever for him again, because the alternative is still easily worse.
